Issues
The Issue: Massive Conflicts of Interest

The Milton Hershey School Board of Managers is riddled with conflicts of interest. It purports to serve needy children while its members enrich themselves with lucrative fees paid by the Hershey Company, HERCO, and the Hershey Trust Company, pitting the interests of those entities against the interests of MHS children. This leads to poor childcare decisions and the favoring of non-child interests.

Who can make the difference:

Only Attorney General Tom Corbett, who refuses to act, can end this universally condemned practice.

How it can be done:

Pennsylvania voters, regardless of party affiliation, can deliver a strong message to Corbett, demanding action on behalf of needy children.  Corbett is running for governor in November, he should either fix these problems before the election or be held accountable in the voting booth.
