The Issue:Unacceptable Failure Rate at Milton Hershey School

Milton Hershey School is losing, on average, more than one child every single school day every year, despite an annual budget of $110,000 per child! The stories of these children and their powerless and impoverished guardians are harrowing.

In the last six years, only 786 children graduated, many without diplomas, while 1,141 children were removed. Overall, one can argue that MHS today is doing more harm than good.

Who can make the difference:

Only Attorney General Tom Corbett, who refuses to act or even meet with the distraught, poor, single mothers of these children, can bring about MHS changes that will end this totally unacceptable failure rate.

How it can be done:

Pennsylvania voters, regardless of party affiliation, can deliver a strong message to Corbett, demanding action on behalf of needy children.  Corbett is running for governor in November, he should either fix these problems before the election or be held accountable in the voting booth.
